At Seretta, we take the safety of our personnel very seriously. Each of our branches has their own full time Safety Director. Our Safety Directors are highly trained professionals who all have, at a minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Management or an equivalent 4 year degree major. All of our Safety Directors also achieve their professional certifications including, but not limited to: CHST, ASP & CSP. Our Safety Directors are also certified to train CPR; First Aid; Aerial Work Platforms; Forklift; 10 hour OSHA; Rigging and more.
We believe training shouldn’t stop with the Safety Directors, so all of our Foremen, Field Superintendents, General Superintendents, Project Managers and Warehouse Managers are trained in CPR, First Aid and have completed 10 hour OSHA courses. Further, all new employees are required to go through safety training prior to beginning their first day of work. All existing employees go through re-training prior to the beginning of any new project.
In addition, our field conducts weekly “toolbox talks” which we have created “in-house” so each weekly topic is specific to the type of work and hazards our personnel are exposed to.
We do not believe that safety should be on a lesser tier than quality and professionalism and our commitment to a safe work environment demonstrates this to our employees and clients on a daily basis.
